Sometimes, function doesn’t follow form. And in daily life, function matters. For example, when you have a trunk full of groceries and 2 kids, soon to be 3, you don’t want to walk through your garage, downstairs, and then up more stairs – just to get to your kitchen!
We gave this young family an addition that simplified everything. They can now easily access their kitchen, which is twice the size with a massive island, a wall of windows, and an incredible view. We added a hardworking mudroom and laundry space, not to mention a new deck, home office, front porch, and more. Suddenly, their house wasn’t just form or function. It was fantastic.
